Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Macon West

The whole place was awful.

“Comfortable stay”

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of my room, but unfortunately, that was the only redeeming quality of my stay. Everything else was just fine, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for in a hotel. I mean, I didn't have any major complaints, but I didn't have any major positives either.

“Good”

I'm not sure what to say about this hotel, except that it was a complete waste of money. The staff were unhelpful, the room was dirty, and the whole experience was just a disaster. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

“I wish I wouldn't have accepted the room before looking at it. Would have left”

I'm still trying to process the horror of my stay at this hotel. The room was a disaster, with burn marks all over the furniture and dirty, torn bedding that had to be changed as soon as I arrived. To make matters worse, someone was smoking meth next door, and the smell was unbearable. The only slightly positive thing I can say is that the wifi was decent, but that's not exactly a selling point when you're dealing with a room that's basically uninhabitable.

I'm still trying to process the sheer number of roaches that infested our room. It was like they were waiting for us, and we left with a few unwanted souvenirs unless you sealed everything tightly. The rooms were poorly cleaned, and the bathroom was a nightmare - it smelled terrible and was basically unsanitary. We were told there'd be no refund after just 10 minutes of checking in, which was a pretty bold move.
