The rooms are very pretty! The view is gorgeous and everyone is very helpful! The breakfast is delicious! The manager is very kind! 10/10, I’ll come back in the future! Nothing was lacking; everything was 10/10.

The jacuzzi and the spacious room were great. The gas fireplace wasn’t efficient.

We spent a truly amazing time at El Cafetal in Cachí. If you want a calm and relaxing escape in Costa Rica, this is the spot. The rooms are huge, super comfy, and spotless, giving the best space to chill. The hotel is surrounded by lovely, well-kept gardens that make the place feel very quiet and peaceful. The biggest perk for us was the wildlife—there are loads of birds everywhere. We strongly suggest joining a birdwatching tour while you’re there; it’s totally worth it and unforgettable. The food was fantastic, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their warm hospitality and excellent service made our trip truly special. The only downside was mosquitoes, which is a common issue throughout Costa Rica.
