The bed was comfortable, any contact with the staff was very friendly, there was a fridge, and the room size was already okay. I would like to report on the hotel, but I didn’t actually stay there. Before arrival I received 3 emails stating that the hotel would shut down on three different dates, two of which overlapped my travel period. I was then rebooked to Lion 10 (directly opposite). The room they sent me pictures of didn’t arrive; instead I got a cheaper one. For two nights you can’t mess up so much: I found that Lion 10 (room facing the street) was so noisy that I woke up several times at night. If someone talked loudly outside, I was startled because it sounded like someone was in the room. The bathroom was catastrophic: all towels smelled of smoke; the tap on the sink was too short for the basin; the shower water was sometimes not hot, only lukewarm, and the shower was generally integrated into the room next to the toilet without a partition. Wi‑Fi was rather bad.
