The atmosphere was calm and I could relax, with no complaints.

“This is a lovely and elegant hotel with a beautiful Japanese garden near the port in Kasaoka”

The twin room was roomy and cozy, with an ensuite bathroom, a kettle and a fridge. We explored the nearby shrine, the waterfront, and the Horseshoe Crab Museum, all of which were a lot of fun. The fridge wasn’t high enough to keep my food cold, so you might want to check that. The restaurant was closed and the hotel sits in a somewhat remote spot near the port, but the convenience store was very close and we were able to grab dinner there.

The room’s air conditioning was just right, the cleanliness was good, and the space was very large and comfortable. The only issue was hearing noise from other rooms.
