“The Gast House”

The room was comfortable and the location was fantastic—just an 11‑minute walk to the train station, with plenty of restaurants and the lake nearby. We even received digital Summer Cards and mobility passes, which added a lot of value. I would definitely recommend staying at The Gast House. On the downside, there was no A/C. Even by early October it was still warm, so we had to open the windows and balcony door to let in air, and that let the road noise in. The reception closed at 18:00 the day before we left, and we only found out about it on a printed notice. We left the hotel at 7:00 and didn’t return until 19:00, wishing they’d sent that info by email. I sent a question via chat at 18:30; if I’d known earlier, I would have asked sooner. Since the reception opens at 7:30, we couldn’t drop off our luggage on departure day because we were out at 7:00, so we had to use the lockers at the train station.

“Schöne große Apartments, gut gelegen”

The apartments are large and well furnished, clean, and the kitchen has everything you need. We were upgraded from our original booking, which we really appreciated. Breakfast is excellent and leaves almost no room for improvement. The fitness room could use a few more machines. All staff were friendly and helpful.
