Great central location, close to Rue Montorgueil and Châtelet station. My single room was super cosy and clean, with a comfy bed and a great shower. There wasn’t much to dislike, just a paper towel or hand dryer in the shared toilet would be nice.

The hotel sits right near the bars, restaurants and the Metro, but the many stairs can be a hassle if you’re not very mobile. The location isn’t close enough to the main sights, so you’ll need to take public transport or walk about 20 minutes to reach the hop‑on hop‑off bus stop. The shower was pretty good, though. I didn’t like the room at all – it was really small, with hardly any storage, tiny windows that let in almost no sunlight, and the air conditioning was pretty rubbish. The stairs were also quite narrow, making it hard to carry a large suitcase up comfortably, and there’s no lift, so keep that in mind. I wouldn’t stay there again.
