“I stay there everytime I am in Athens.”

The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and it had everything you could possibly need, plus a very nice shower. There was nothing to complain about—I love the place.

All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is great for seeing real Athens, not just the tourist spots, and it’s close to the Archaeology Museum, a nice restaurant, and many coffee shops. It’s a quiet spot, and you can get a good workout walking those hills and steps.

“Very horrible. I wanted to get at lease 50% of my payment back but no one on your stay assisted me.”

The staff were friendly, but the location and the room smelled like smoke. I called the booking site as soon as I arrived, but they said I couldn’t get a refund. I only stayed one night. I was traveling alone and the area was not suitable for solo travelers; there were shady people hanging around. I also sprained my ankle and couldn’t climb the steep hill to reach the hotel. The taxi driver refused to go up the hill and told me it wasn’t a good neighborhood for seniors. I’m 70 years old and was very upset. The pictures on the website were very misleading.

The hotel sits in a great spot, the room is beautiful, and there are excellent bars, restaurants, and a bakery nearby. The rooms with an Acropolis view are worth every penny, though the shower felt a bit small.
