The peaceful atmosphere was a real highlight, but unfortunately, the area around the canal was a bit of a mess. The nearby lake was a lovely spot, but it was overrun with leaves and bird poop, and I even spotted a few frogs. Still, the calm surroundings made up for the lack of cleanliness.
