Hotel Edelweiss

“Lidt skuffende, havde nok regnet med at det var lidt bedre”

The view was decent and the room was a good size, plus the elevator and parking were a real plus. The bathroom, however, was cramped and the door opened inward, making it hard to get in and out—just flip the door and it’d feel more spacious. The room looked a bit worn, the TV was tucked into a small niche so you couldn’t watch from the bed, and the bed creaked a lot.

“Perfect little winter holidays”

We stayed in an apartment at Sunnegghaus and loved everything—comfortable beds, a nice dining area, and a spacious bathroom with a great shower. We barely used the kitchen because the half board was so good. The location was perfect: the train station was 0.6 km away, the bus stop close by, and cross‑country trails just behind the hotel. The staff were excellent and the apartment was super quiet.

Hotel Edelweiss is a fantastic family hotel. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the rooms were fine. The location is great—just a short walk to the bus stop and the free ski bus takes you straight into the ski area. All in all, a solid hotel we’ll definitely return to.

The hotel looks a bit shabby from the outside, but inside it’s pretty nice. The rooms are clean and vary in size and equipment. The dining room has a classic wooden style, and the food is very good—dinners are served with a pre‑selected menu, and Sundays have a Swedish buffet. Breakfast is tasty, and in winter the bus stop right outside is a big plus. The ski hut is small, but there’s always space for skis.
