The reception staff were friendly, breakfast was reasonably priced, the cleaning was good, the location is great and the room offers nice views; however, the bathroom and terrace need renovation, as do the rooms, because the old style is visually jarring and offers zero comfort.

The building is old but it worked perfectly for us. The spot is great, right across the monuments and a 1+ bus stop. The room was spacious, the bed super comfy, and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was adequate.

It was fine overall, but every time we checked in there was no double bed, only single beds; the staff were friendly except for one man, about 55 years old, whose manner of speaking was inappropriate and unprofessional. I came from Málaga to Melilla with my partner and always choose this hotel, yet that man's attitude made me question staying there again. The rest was perfect, though the bathrooms were missing items and the towels were worn, plus there was no toothbrush; otherwise everything was fine.
