I was in a basement room that smelled overwhelmingly of laundry chemicals and bleach; all the hotel’s laundry and cleaning supplies were stored right next to it, making it horrible. I woke up with a scratchy throat and had to leave. I had booked and paid for three nights, but I departed after the first night to stay somewhere else because it was awful down there.

We had an amazing stay at Flooka. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful ocean view. Our host went above and beyond, and the staff were very friendly. The food was also amazing; it was the best breakfast we’ve had in Morocco. I would highly recommend this place. We have nothing negative to say about Flooka!!

The residence was really pleasant and perfectly located, offering on-site breakfast, dinner, surfboards, surf lessons, and yoga. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were also very friendly, and on our last day we could leave our bags after checking out and take a shower before heading out to the waves. One small note: the breakfast buffet was excellent but the serving window was a bit short, only from 9:30 to 10:30, which might be tight for early‑eating folks.

Everything matched the photos exactly, which was great. The place was spotless and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The team was fantastic, and the surfing equipment was almost brand new. Be sure to eat there in the evenings. The breakfast was regional and high quality, but we would have liked a bit more variety (more of a suggestion for improvement than a real criticism).
