The spot was fine, but the apartment couldn't accommodate five people; it had only one room with two beds and a sofa‑bed in the kitchenette that I had to set up myself, and it filled the whole room. It’s absurd to offer this for five guests.

The apartment was pretty, well‑kept, and clean, and the host was friendly and helpful in some respects. However, the property sits in the historic center, so the ZTL is a major concern; upon arrival we received no guidance about a parking spot in the lower part of town, which would have been convenient because it’s connected to the center by a moving staircase. We stayed in August and the apartment was very hot; only fans were provided, which were insufficient for a comfortable stay in summer. A major issue was the kitchen: we purposely chose an apartment with a kitchen because the photos and description made it seem like a key feature. On arrival we discovered that using the kitchen required a cleaning surcharge, which was neither listed on Booking nor mentioned beforehand by the host. The host also told us we couldn’t even use it for a take‑out dinner. We chose this option to avoid eating out during our two days in Perugia; if we’d known this restriction, we might have opted for a simple hotel room. We had to ask for permission to use the fridge to get water at 40 °C, and we expected the host to provide a bottle of water upon arrival. The shower also needed improvement: the fixed shower head was old and the water flow was very weak.

I didn’t stay at this place because it was different from the photos and had a terrible odor; I left immediately and booked elsewhere. The inside smelled awful.
