The place is perfectly situated for a visit to Ypres and all its sights; it’s a lovely modern hotel with great attention to its facilities. Almost nothing was wrong, though the motion‑sensor lights by the beds and in the bathroom were a fantastic idea—perhaps they stayed on too long and were a bit too bright by the beds.

The location is ideal, close to the city center, the reception is very friendly, and the breakfast is perfect.

The hotel was easy to find and offered secure parking; it’s a gentle 10‑minute walk from the Grote Markt. The building is modern and spotless, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the room is a good size, clean with a well‑equipped bathroom and all the amenities you’d need. The iPad system for information, booking breakfast, etc. was a really innovative idea. Breakfast was well stocked, and the small museum inside the hotel was also very interesting.
