The retreat’s unusual mountain setting was absolutely enchanting, the rooms were delightful with the best outdoor bathtub I’ve ever seen, the pool was glorious surrounded by a tropical garden, free fruit, drinks in the mini‑bar and plenty of bicycles were a refreshing touch—definitely worth every penny. The initial reception area felt a bit misleading, not a true reflection of the resort, and the buffet breakfast was mediocre and could use improvement.
