“Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.”

We arrived and received no information from the host at all; we had to find the Wi‑Fi password ourselves. The first morning, another guest told us that breakfast was available at the bar right on the street. Inside, all seats were already taken by bar guests, so we had to eat in the half‑open vestibule in the rain and storm. Because the doors were open and the roof was leaking, it wasn’t completely dry or warm. Breakfast offered only croissants and pre‑packed Tramenzzini. The sheet for the duvet was very crumpled, so we hoped it was just unpressed. For two people, there was only one shower towel; we had to ask for a second one. We also wanted to buy Prosecco, so we asked the host’s brother (the bar owner) for a tasting of his own products. He served us a glass of the cheapest Fizzante (on the bill), without any explanation or other recommendations, and we didn’t even see the label. That’s how you sell your products.

The hotel is a 20‑minute walk from Valdobbiadene’s center, rooms are clean with TV and air‑conditioning, and breakfast is served in the bar across from the building; the owner is very friendly and helpful.
