The hosts are a lovely couple who turned a PLD cargo boat into a floating dream. They’re incredibly kind and available while keeping the place very private and cozy. It’s comfortable and romantic to wake up among the water birds. High‑end appliances and a quick tram link to the central station. Just a wonderful stay! Absolutely nothing.

“Stay on a houseboat”

A pleasant and unusual stay on a houseboat, a truly distinctive experience in Amsterdam. The accommodation lacks storage—no wardrobe, no desk, so everything ends up lying around. You can only get out of the bed from one side, which isn’t practical at night. There’s also no towel bar in the bathroom. The boat is a few hundred meters from the tram, making it easy to reach Central Station. An original experience, but several comfort improvements are needed.

“Es ist ein Erlebnis und erholsam, weil man so nah am Wasser ist.”

Die Lage war super! Sehr zentral und ein Erlebnis auf einem Hausboot zu sein! Es ist wirklich cozy gehalten und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Es war tatsächlich etwas laut, wenn jemand aus der anderen Tür gegangen ist oder über die kleine Metallbrücke, um aufs Boot zu kommen (das ist leider nicht wirklich vermeidbar, aber bisschen störend)

The spot is great—super cozy on the boat and Augustina was really friendly. The short walk to the tram was a big plus, and 16 minutes to Centraal Station is unbeatable.

“Absolutely brilliant stay on this houseboat and in Amsterdam overall. We absolutely loved everything about the boat and”

The boat itself was adorable, the interior modern, and the shower was fantastic. The hosts provided a comprehensive list of instructions covering everything we might need. The boat sits in a secure area right next to a supermarket and public transport. Although I loved the boat overall, a handrail when leaving would have made me feel safer since I’m a bit clumsy.
