Located in Desenzano del Garda's historic centre, the Alessi Hotel Trattoria is 200 metres from Lake Garda's shores. This hotel features 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, and a wine shop. Elegant rooms offer views of the centre, Via Castello, or a quiet courtyard, with satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. A main à la carte restaurant and traditional trattoria serve local cuisine, with a wine bar open for lunch and dinner.

The staff were very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, made of stone, causing back pain the next day. The air conditioning was noisy and woke us up at night. At breakfast, the Italian staff member barely looked you in the face.

Very centrally located, great staff, a small, cute hotel. The mattresses are too hard (can't sleep through the night) and the air conditioner and bathroom ventilation need urgent cleaning.

Great spot, family‑run, folks were lovely.

The location was excellent, just a short walk to the boats for trips on Lake Garda, close to restaurants and the local scene.
