The location was great, and the staff were helpful and welcoming, but the breakfast was just okay, not exceptional.

The spot was good, with plenty of food, shopping, and entertainment nearby, and transport was convenient via MRT and bus. The room was noisy, Wi‑Fi was subpar, the size differed from online descriptions, the decor felt a bit dated and dimly lit, and the most bizarre thing was that the bathroom door had a frosted sticker but the middle section was clear glass, so anyone outside could see when we were in the toilet—even a couple needs some privacy.

“Comfortable, clean and convenient”

Convenient location, clean rooms, a big bathroom, and a comfortable bed, but the floor was carpeted.

Walking distance from Zhongshan Station made shopping and dining very convenient, and the Double Street Morning Market was within walking distance; if you’re up for it, you could also walk to Ningxia Night Market or Dihua Street. Taipei Station is connected underground. The bike‑share system was extensive, so cycling was handy. After walking a lot each day, the bathtub was a relief, and the staff spoke Japanese and were very kind. The air‑conditioner temperature setting didn’t work well and some outlets didn’t power on; the bed was a bit soft, which might not suit everyone, but overall the rooms were clean and there were few complaints.

The bathtub and TV let me enjoy an immersive shower while watching shows, but opening the window let in food smells from outside after a while; we were on the 6th floor.
