The location was perfect for visiting Pech‑Merle, Bouziès or St‑Cirq‑Lapopie, Richard and Jane were friendly and caring hosts, the dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the room was clean and well equipped; nothing to add.

Richard and Jane were warm and helpful, going out of their way to make the stay memorable; the place was tidy, cozy and quiet, Richard cooked a superb dinner and the breakfast had protein, but the Wi‑Fi was weak – though that matched other stays on the Cele Variant and we had enough cell reception; the spot was a bit out of town and not ideal for walking to Pech Merle, yet Richard offered to drive us there, so it wasn’t a problem.

It was a peaceful spot with a small lounge, the hosts were courteous and communicative, parking was easy, it was close to Pech Merl cave, and the terrace and garden were nice; everything was fine, maybe just a small fridge in the room would help.

Comfort, staff availability, and quietness were all good, but in my sister’s room the bed was uncomfortable.

The inn was quiet yet well‑located for hiking and sightseeing, very clean, welcoming, and helpful with useful info for tours; the breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed the stay.
