The pool is in the center! The water flows nicely, mmm. The staff is very nice too.

The view of the pyramids from the rooftop was amazing 🤩, the pool was very good and right next to our room, the room itself was clean, and I recommend this hotel; the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The air‑conditioning was noisy at night.

We spent several nights here during our Egypt vacation and the hotel’s own airport shuttle – both the arrival pick‑up and the later return transfer – ran smoothly, on time and without hassle. The location shines thanks to the rooftop terrace view, especially at sunset or when the pyramids are lit, and a tiny kiosk a few metres away sells snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. The pyramids’ entrance is only a short walk away, so you don’t need to use the newly built gate on the opposite side. The rooms aren’t the most modern but they get the job done; the bathroom is tiny and more of a wet room since there’s no separate shower cabin, and every room has a fridge and air‑conditioning, though most units place the AC unit right above the bed. There’s no buffet breakfast, just three set menus to choose from, and from the second day we each picked a different menu and created our own little buffet. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful; when Uber drivers tried to charge us more than the quoted fare, an employee used her Uber account to order a new ride so we only paid the advertised price. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi over VPN was practically unusable, the TV in the first room didn’t work because it lacked a satellite module, and the pool was relatively small with water that was ice‑cold during our visit. Directly opposite the hotel a mosque broadcasts the call to prayer loudly – we heard it as early as 4 am and again in the evenings, sometimes for several hours straight. The streets around the property are littered with camel and horse droppings from the animals that stay there overnight and walk to the pyramids in the morning (the smell luckily stays outside the hotel). After leaving the hotel we were constantly approached about hiring a taxi, camel, horse or carriage, which was extremely annoying, so we always booked Uber from the hotel instead.

Only the staff stand out, and even then only because they are smiling, but they are not professional (they lack the training). The photos on the website are misleading: the pyramids are there in the distance, but between the hotel and the site the neighborhood consists only of unlicensed hotels built in a very poor area of Cairo. As for the hotel itself, nothing good.

The breakfast was hearty with a view of the pyramids, the room had direct access to the pool, and there was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. A water leak in the bathroom.
