Nicolas, who greeted us, was very friendly and made an effort, even apologising for the cold and lack of heating. On the downside, we didn’t get a unit like the ones shown in the photos; instead we were placed in a lower‑floor house that smelled damp and musty, had no heating, and the air‑conditioner set to warm barely warmed the bathroom, which had mold spots on the shower floor, rust on the shower‑curtain rod, and rust on the ceiling. Communication with the host was hit‑or‑miss, sometimes failing completely. We needed a washer and dryer, which is why we chose this place, but only a laundry service at $4 per kilogram was offered. Traveling the world, this turned out to be the biggest disappointment we’ve faced; booking here could land you in the same mess, and the odor lingered on our clothes so much that I still smelled it on the plane.

During our stay at a lovely hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who turned out to be a kind and understanding individual. Despite some initial delays to our trip, the owner was more than accommodating, making us feel at ease and ensuring that our stay was as smooth as possible. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to the city center, although we did experience some summer traffic congestion.
