The home is immaculate, with comfy beds, a super-stocked kitchen, and tons of storage for clothes.
The bedroom was a real highlight - it had a massive walk-in wardrobe and plenty of space.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you'd need at home, including a dishwasher and washing machine.
The location was perfect, right near a big Tesco and a short drive from the beach.

“Excellent Lodge but pricey for what you get”
The Lodge itself was fabulous, with quality furnishings and everything you needed, and the beds were really comfortable. The double doors opened up to let you watch the sunsets in the evening, and it was exceptionally clean with excellent cooking facilities. It turned out to be much bigger than expected and very comfortable, with some small but nice green spaces around and a little place to feed ducks. Walking distance brought me to the beach, Sealife centre and funfair. However, Big Brother demanded names, ages, etc. of the entire family—totally unnecessary! I had to bring my own bedding and it was a bit pricey overall. Absolutely nothing was included that we knew about before booking, and it would have been cheaper to go to a hotel. When we arrived it was baking hot and there wasn’t one window open to cool the property, like walking into a sauna. No fans were provided; we had brought our own but had two cars, which could be difficult for a family traveling in one car. The TV reception was a bit hit or miss.
Apart from emails from 2cHolidays, there was no staff to meet, so I can’t give a rating for that. The caravan was clean and tidy, well equipped, and we would love to stay there again. The caravan is located towards the rear of the site, which would be a problem for parents with walking disabilities if I booked without a car, and the car parking charges in Hunstanton are extremely high, including disabled parking.
“Excellent home from home the owners should be proud”
This lodge was a real treat - the master bedroom was huge with tons of storage space, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you'd need at home, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge area was comfy with plenty of seating, and the shower was powerful and just the right temperature. One thing to watch out for is the towel rails and radiators, which were scorching hot - we all got burned at some point, and I'd be worried if I had kids staying here.
It was cancelled on the day when we were already in Hunstanton by the owners and up to yet no funds have been returned.
“Overall a pleasant stay.”
The lodge was comfortable, in a good location, and well stocked. It could have had more pillows and bath mats. Phone signal is lousy, so having internet would have been handy. Attention to detail with the cleaning could have been better, as the cooker top, kitchen sink, and tap were a little dirty.
