“Affordable and basic in a good location with a nice balcony”

The place sits on a main street, the balcony with a small table and two chairs looks out onto the road, the mattress is decent but not plush, and a Tops is directly across while a 7/11 is about a block away; Wi‑Fi works well. The bathroom emitted a sewage odor several times a day even with the door shut, the mattress could be better, microfiber sheets were clean but cotton would be preferable, and I’m unclear on the cleaning schedule – you have to go down to the bar and request someone to tidy the room (no staff on Sundays).

The location is good, a 5‑minute walk to the beach, local shops and bars are within walking distance, and Dom Pizza is nearby.

The spot is great, just 5 minutes from the beach (though it’s too dirty to swim in). The hotel sits on a noisy street with bars, and there’s a bar on the ground floor. A 7/11 and other 24‑hour stores are a minute away, plus pharmacies and massage parlours. The Buddha temple and a night market with food are within walking distance, and the beach itself is better for swimming. Staff are friendly and very polite. The room was clean with fresh towels and linens, a mini‑kitchen with fridge, kettle and instant coffee, a shower with hot water, shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hand soap. A 2000‑baht deposit was taken at check‑in and fully refunded on departure. The room had a good air‑conditioner and a balcony with an authentic street view. It was noisy at night because the windows faced a busy street, but by the second night I had adapted.

“ใหญ่สะใจ สะอาด”

It’s a great value; the room had everything – a kitchen, dishes, a big fridge, it was clean, there was a lift, the bathroom came with a toothbrush, and it wasn’t far from the sea. Parking might require going to Si Y, but the staff handled it well.
