“Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. Wouldn’t bother with dinner in the restaurant.”
The spa facilities are lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is excellent, but the restaurant was not great, had a limited menu, and did not offer good value for money.

The location was great, and it was peaceful and quiet. The restaurant was only average, and there was no snack menu during the day, so I had to leave the hotel for that.

The spa was fantastic and the location is excellent. The only downside was the room’s view, which faced a row of ugly lean‑tos behind the hotel kitchens. The rooms were nicely decorated but some shoddy repairs let them down, and the staff were efficient but could have been a bit more welcoming.
