The courteous and friendly owner of this house rents out large, comfortable rooms with private bathrooms in a big house that offers free parking and is in a nice neighbourhood. Within 15‑20 minutes by car or taxi you can reach the centre of Östn. The house needs renovation, but it still provides a respectable stay outside the centre. The smell from the old air‑conditioner was unpleasant.

“Very quiet and relaxing.”

The grounds were beautiful! The swimming‑pool area was charming, reminding me of an Italian villa. The pool was clean, shaded, and very refreshing on a hot day.

Staying in a historic house right in the middle of the neighborhood was really cool, though it’s a bit far from the city center; the bus line that runs by is convenient enough.

“Magical, historic, comfortable, and inviting.”

I loved the layout—nighttime on the porch or by the pool felt whimsical and cozy, and breakfast was excellent; meeting other guests added to the charm. The bathtub looked like it could use a bit of TLC, probably just old water stains.
