Pension Oberberg

The room felt cosy with a decent bathroom and a comfy bed; breakfast was included. From the street it looks a bit odd, but once you’re inside it’s a tidy space and the kitchen is quirky, full of old memorabilia. There’s an honesty fridge in the kitchen area with cold drinks and snacks – just let the host know what you took the next day. I couldn’t find the Wi‑Fi code anywhere and the host didn’t reply to messages, but otherwise I’d definitely stay again.

“Für eine Nacht okay.”

The room was large and clean, though the bathroom was quite cramped. Breakfast was nicely prepared. It’s a bit far from the main road, so to call the pizza service I had to climb the hill to get a signal because there’s no reception in the hotel. The host wasn’t reachable by phone before check‑in. The bathroom was so tight that after showering everything was under water. The value for money didn’t suit me.

A small inn with a long history – perfect for exploring the Oberbergisches Land, right on the Sülztal cycle path, and it offers a lovingly arranged breakfast and an incredibly friendly host.

“Top Unterkunft mit Charme”

The place is old, unpretentious, functional and well maintained. It’s very quiet at night. The landlord was very friendly. Breakfast is lovingly prepared and plentiful. For a short stay it’s a top recommendation!

“Übernachtung in der Pension Oberberg”

The breakfast was very tasty, and the kitchenette had everything you’d need – coffee, tea, sparkling water, plenty of toiletries and towels in the bathroom. Everything was fine.
