Schlosshotel Eyba

The rooms in the seminar house felt more like older standards than cozy, and the wellness area seemed unusable, so it didn’t match the description. The restaurant was open only a limited time, probably because of staff shortages.

“Eyba die 2.te”

We stayed at the Schlosshotel Eyba again a few years back; the hotel sits nicely at almost 600 m and the surroundings invite hiking and lingering. We’re glad a new operator has taken over and the hotel is running again. At breakfast we’d have liked a coffee machine and more variety, especially on Sundays. The grounds are very spacious and there’s plenty of parking, so we were surprised that the parking cost €5 per day, even though that was mentioned low on the booking confirmation. Unfortunately the outdoor garden area, below the guest house and the landscape section, has suffered a bit, likely due to budget issues, despite the large size of the property.

Schlosshotel Eyba sits in a very idyllic spot surrounded by parks and nature, making it perfect for dog owners and families with kids. The staff are exceptionally friendly and dedicated to their castle. The rooms are neat and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet was abundant and left no desire unmet. It was a lovely stay and we’ll return gladly. There’s nothing to complain about.

“Außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft für mich und mein eMTB”

I could park my eMTB safely and charge it. The staff are extraordinarily welcoming. Two MTB routes created by Andreas Albrecht run through Eyba. Nothing negative.
