There was nothing good to mention. The guest house was dirty, rundown, and smelled bad; the shower didn’t work, the bathroom was filthy and below acceptable standards. The street around the property made us uneasy, with a nearby building linked to suspected drug activity and several boarded‑up windows next door, giving the area an unsafe feel. Overall, the accommodation was in terrible condition, and I would never stay here again.

The property wasn’t available from the first day of booking, and the owners never replied to my messages or requests, even after being told there was a leak and people had been evacuated the night before. It felt like a scam; don’t book, you’ll struggle to get your money back and the owners only care about their pockets, not your safety.

The place was clean, tidy and welcoming, but an emergency forced us to move to another lodging a couple of miles away, which was handled quickly and included transport; the new location was also very clean, comfortable and welcoming.

Nothing good here. The street looked like a drug den, most windows were boarded up and one neighbor had no front door, which made me worry about our car; the house smelled like a grow house, the stairs were steep leading to the bedroom, and I’ve stayed in many youth hostels but this is not something I’d expect to see on any booking site. Everything was terrible—this should not be rented out. As an Airbnb housekeeper, I nearly died seeing the condition of this property.

Everything was perfect, and I liked everything.
