“Gute Unterkunft auf der Durchreise”

We had a room whose entrance opened directly onto the hotel’s parking lot, which made it easy to park right in front of our room and, with our dog, it was a relief not to have to run around the whole hotel when we needed to walk him. The staff at check‑in and in the restaurant during dinner and breakfast were very friendly. Free still water was provided, and there was coffee and tea for self‑service in the room. The place had a slightly odd smell, but a quick ventilation fixed that. The toaster at breakfast took forever to work and only worked with some tricks, and overall the breakfast selection could have been a bit wider.

The location was excellent, the food was good, and the staff were very helpful. It wasn’t a dislike, but the local roads were narrow tracks, so if you’re uneasy with that, plan your journey carefully and don’t rely on GPS.

A gorgeous hotel set in a scenic spot, with a spotless room, a delightful continental breakfast, and a peacock outside the curtains when I opened them in the morning—everything I could wish for.

The staff were absolutely fantastic and made us feel really welcome. The shower cubicle was much too small.
