The owners were wholesome and even had a house cat, the value was great and it felt like a true “stay at the locals” experience, plus the breakfast at the local joint was recommended; I just wish there had been a breakfast option to make it even better.

Ein traumhaft schönes B&B. Man fühlt sich wie in einer Zeitreise und ein bisschen wie Scarlett O'Hara. Die Inhaber sind wahnsinnig nett und geben sehr gerne Tips. Die Lage war für mich perfekt. Mann konnte zu Fuß zur Mall und auch in der direkten Umgebung gibt es viele sehr nette Straßen zu sehen. Einfach perfekt

The colonial‑style house was beautiful, the room on the third floor had no elevator so stairs were a factor but I usually like them, the room was cozy and comfy for one or a couple, had everything needed, plenty of towels, a mini fridge, Mrs Andrea was super friendly and hospitable, the cat was cute and liked to be petted, and the neighborhood was the best part with endless restaurants and bars within walking distance, beautiful winter scenery, history everywhere, the green train was an easy walk away to Columbia Heights or the government district—perfect spot; I just wish I had asked for coffee, I’m sure they had it but I felt bad imposing.

I spent two days in DC and chose to stay the night at this hotel; it was wonderful, everything was clean and comfortable, breakfast was offered in the morning and was really nice, and if I return to DC I’ll definitely come back here.
