The spot is right on the sand with plenty of shade, and the hosts are truly wonderful. The only downside is that the room lets in a lot of light even with the blackout curtains, which kept our little one from sleeping in and made us all wake up early.

This inn is super cozy and literally steps from the beach, with owners who are incredibly attentive. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and I actually fell asleep to the soothing sound of the waves—definitely a place I’ll choose again when I’m back in Paraty.

The location can’t be beat and the staff, especially the gaucho and Claudia, were friendly and down‑to‑earth. The only thing that left a sour note was the long trip back home after checking out.

My wife and I really appreciated the location and the facilities, and Claudia and her husband treated us like old friends. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, so we’re already planning to return as soon as we can.
