The Cache Hotel and Lodgings

“Decent, convenient, everything you need but not much more.”

The room was tidy and modern, and staff member Shauna texted us, introduced herself, and was very helpful. There were enough linens, blankets, and pillows. The location was spot‑on for my downtown event, so it was super convenient. However, the room itself was clean, but the entrance, hallways, and other areas were dirty, showing that more repair and updating are needed. The hotel feels old, so some things are limited, and the rooms all line a super narrow hallway with no lobby. We stayed four days and sometimes felt cramped, stuck in our little room with nowhere else to go. The room was decent but overall the hotel lacked a welcoming vibe.

The place was clean, comfortable, and checking in was a breeze; the owner was friendly and responsive whenever I needed something. A restaurant downstairs was super convenient, and the scenery behind the hotel was beautiful. On a Wednesday morning, a nearby market offered fresh produce, local honey, and more right next door. Locking the door was a bit confusing at first, but I eventually figured it out.

“AVOID - NOT RECOMMENDED”

We were not recommended this place. The AC vent was lying in the room, and the temperature spiked above 35°C in summer. The room sits above a Bar and Grill, but it’s actually a nightclub with subwoofers directly beneath; the floor, bed, walls, and ceiling all vibrated, producing cracking noises. The music was so loud that even ear‑plugs didn’t help—drums rattled through the body from 9 pm until about 2–2:30 am. Bar patrons smoked right in front of our window, forcing us to close it and turn off the AC, trapping us in 35°C. We couldn’t sleep and left as soon as possible. We tried contacting Shauna all evening without response; after a few days she only sent a photo describing the location over a Bar and Grill, but no apology or proper service. The room’s photos in the listing don’t match the actual room, which lacks a small kitchen—just a fridge and a dirty coffee machine. After years of traveling, this was the worst stay and worst service ever; avoid it. (We have plenty of videos of shaking walls and cracking ceilings.)

“Awful”

This place is disgusting. I would never recommend. No staff on site. The entry is never locked so anyone a get in. Booked 3 rooms, they were all dirty. 1 room had no air conditioning and was extremely hot. When I complained about that I was told maintenance would be by the next day and they had never been told that before. That is a lie, there are previous reviews stating the same. Never stay here. Everything was digusting

The beds were nice and comfy, and customer support was quick. The view was great, but there was no window to actually see it.
