“Hôtel a ne pas recommander”

Nothing good. When we arrived we had to fight for a double bed even though I’d paid extra for it. There was no paper in the paper box, the locked box with two glasses was filthy and not cleaned, the bathroom sink leaked straight onto the floor, mouse droppings were around the drains, and there was no private scooter parking as advertised; we had to park in the lobby. One air‑conditioner didn’t work; I told reception on arrival and they said a technician would come. The next evening I reminded them it still didn’t work. The next morning before leaving I called again, and when we returned that night the manager said he’d fixed it but I still had to check if it was right, as if he’d missed that the remote was set to 17° while the room was 40°. At checkout I tried to pay by card as the hotel’s policy said it was possible, but the two 15‑year‑old girls with acne couldn’t get the POS to work; we waited half an hour until the manager called and told me to withdraw cash. We had already returned the scooter, so I walked 20 minutes to find an ATM and come back to pay. Terrible experience!

The bed was good. The place felt a bit old and there was some outside noise.

“Té gek!”

The rooms looked like French colonial style with beautiful furnishings, giving a chic vibe for a nice price. The toilet was oddly located where the shower should be because of the wall layout, which I found amusing.
