Hotel Thethi

Because of a sewage problem in the bathroom, they upgraded us to a higher room. The view is great and the bed is comfortable. The road to the parking is gravel. The reception is in the hotel’s bar/restaurant, giving a somewhat unprofessional feel, and the finish quality is weak.

The room was clean, the bed was lovely, and the room looked nice. Dinner was good, breakfast was okay, and the people were very kind and helpful. The view is beautiful, though it’s common in this area. Outside our window was a construction site. We were told no construction was happening at the time, but we heard construction noises throughout the day and saw workers passing by our window regularly (so enjoying the bath with a view wasn’t possible). People took selfies on the construction platform in front of our window while we lay in bed. The workers were respectful and didn’t look inside, but it didn’t feel private. The front door had paint openings, letting you see outside (and people inside). The bathroom had no door, only a curtain. The pool was empty, a railing was broken, there was no Wi‑Fi in the room, and we missed a fridge and a bottle of water. The hotel’s location is otherwise nice for the view, but inconvenient because the village is far below (where the view is actually better). For the price we paid, this stay was not worth it, especially since hotels in the village offer the same view and comfort for a third of the price, without this hotel’s shortcomings.

Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful, largely because of Patrick. His outstanding service, kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome and comfortable from the start. Patrick went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, with a positive attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and a readiness to help that made our experience special. He is a real asset to the hotel and a perfect example of excellent hospitality. I also want to thank the entire restaurant team; they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, attentive, and professional. Their warm smiles, excellent service, and dedication turned every meal into a wonderful experience, making us feel comfortable and valued. It’s clear the hotel has a team that genuinely cares about guests and takes pride in their work. From Patrick’s exceptional personal service to the restaurant team’s outstanding hospitality, everyone helped make our stay memorable. A huge thank you to Patrick and the entire restaurant team for making us feel so welcome and for giving us such a fantastic experience. People like you are what make a hotel truly special. You deserve all the appreciation and recognition for your hard work and dedication. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking excellent service and genuine hospitality!

The cabins are absolutely beautiful and spacious, and the views are breathtaking! The only downside is the steep uphill walk to the dining room, which could be hard for people with mobility issues, though you can also reach it by car.
