“Perfect stay in the center of Valladolid”

A perfect spot right in Valladolid’s center. I stayed in a spacious double on the first floor with a great shower. Jonathan and his parents, who live next door, were flawless hosts and organized a Chichen Itza tour for me and the other guests in the adjacent room. The kitchen is available for use. Breakfast in the morning featured tortillas with fillings and fresh fruit, all prepared by Jonathan’s mom. On checkout day I was handed a small gift. Thanks! And if you need a dentist, the hostel also has a dental practice. Nothing to complain about.

“Hôtel familial”

A family-run place with especially warm hospitality. It’s very well located near the Zócalo, making a walk around the center easy. The breakfast, prepared and served by the owner, was excellent. We also appreciated the helpful advice she gave us. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. In the shared kitchen there’s water, coffee, tea, and a fridge.

“Zentrumsnahe Unterkunft mit freundlichen Betreibern”

The hostel is run by an exceptionally friendly older couple who are very helpful. They’ll even lend umbrellas, sun hats, and backpacks if needed. Coffee, tea, and water are free. Good homemade breakfast, a fan and air conditioning. A nice seat on the roof terrace in front of our room. Sound from the neighboring restaurant carries beautiful Mexican music until 10 pm, then it’s quiet. Initially there were some issues (lighting, TV, security system, no hot water) that were promptly fixed. Only the TV kept disconnecting from the internet until the end and was unusable.

“Riposo perfetto nel centro di Valladolid”

Kind, welcoming, and helpful staff. At check‑in they gave us valuable tips for the next days, discounts for a local restaurant where we had a great dinner, and for some beautiful cenotes that are less crowded. A fridge, a shared kitchen, and a water dispenser are available for guests. In the morning a typical Mexican breakfast is prepared by the owners and enjoyed in the shaded garden. The room is minimal for the price, but it was the best place we slept in during our Yucatán Peninsula trip, even compared to higher‑priced hotels. Compliments! The location is excellent, just a few steps from the central square that comes alive in the late afternoon with stalls. Don’t miss it. The room lacks a hair dryer; I’m not sure if it’s available on request, but keep that in mind if you need one.
