We couldn't find the hotel right away because the address was confusing (Liepäja 22 km?) and we had to detour another 32 km. It rained heavily that day, so we were relieved to finally arrive. That night a huge storm hit, cutting the whole neighborhood off from power – the heaviest in the last 20 years. In the morning there was no electricity or water. The host was very friendly and offered us coffee and something to eat (maybe a generator?). The room was spacious and the beds were clean, but overall it wasn’t clean.

The place is very cozy and clean, with just enough in-room amenities to stay. The common area has a kettle and a hair dryer. The walls are thin, so the road next to our room can be a bit noisy.

The staff were great, but there was no air conditioning, so we had to sleep with the door open, and the hallway next to the open door looked like a road with cars driving right through it.

Close to the Kemerų Raisto, parking, tasty breakfast, good restaurant with grilled dishes, and a kids’ playground near the restaurant’s outdoor terrace. It was hot outside, so the room was especially stuffy and we couldn’t sleep. When we opened the window, a swarm of flies appeared and we kept catching them for an hour. An air conditioner would help.
