The hotel sits in the Santa Cruz barrio, close to major tourist spots like the Alcazar and Cathedral, so you can walk all the main sights. You can also grab a drink on the beautiful hotel square, Plaza Dona Elvira. Within a five‑minute walk are tapas bars, and the staff are friendly and available. One note: for sites outside the center, don't hesitate to take a taxi; the prices are reasonable. The shower lacked soap, and breakfast was served at 9:30 am, which pushed the start of tours to 10:30 am, even though guides recommend visiting "in the cool early hours" for a better experience.

The location was the best. The picturesque quiet square and proximity to the cathedral were lovely. The terrace was great, the beds were comfy, and the staff were friendly. I didn't find anything I disliked, except that the cups were tiny; larger ones would have been better for tea.

The location is perfect, the staff are very welcoming, and the bedding is extremely comfortable. The room feels a bit small.
