The check‑in time was late, but the staff handled it politely. No other comments.
“再度泊りたい良い宿”
Everything I needed for my stay was available, and the staff were warm and helpful. The bed and bath were comfortable with no complaints, and a map of the area was provided, which helped when looking for food or small purchases. The only downside was that neither the entrance nor the building displayed the name of the establishment, and the exterior looked like an ordinary house, so when I first arrived I wasn’t sure I was in the right place.
“気持ちよく過ごせました”
The room was clean, the bath was spacious, and having a washing machine was a big help. Check‑in was later than planned, but the host welcomed us pleasantly. It would have been nicer to have a small fridge or a TV. If there had been a note explaining that we were staying on the first floor of the owner’s home, I might have prepared better.
“처음 묵어보는 게스트 하우스”
The owner was friendly and the accommodation was clean. They had prepared a lot of things, so I didn’t know much about Shinkoiwa, but I think I learned a bit. There’s a big park nearby and a river a short walk away, making it a nice place to walk. The shopping district, station, and a large supermarket are close, giving a good living environment. They pre‑heated the tub water in the evening, so after returning I could shower and soak immediately to relieve fatigue. Even though it was cherry‑blossom season, the two nights cost about 100,000 KRW, which is quite cheap. I didn’t have enough time to explore Shinkoiwa, and it didn’t feel like a guesthouse for meeting various people, so if that’s what you’re after, I’d recommend another place. I didn’t mind it, though.
“Bonne adresse, à bon prix”
The host was very kind, the bed was very comfortable, and the house was very clean. It’s close to the train station, so getting to Tokyo Station was quick. In the room there was a window without blinds, and the street light from across the street shone in, which made it hard to sleep. I had to tell the owner every time we left so she could lock the door behind us, and then ring the bell each time we came back, which was inconvenient, especially since we had to be back before 10 p.m.
