We got to the property early and checked in before the normal time, which was great. The room we stayed in, No7, was clean, bright, and the bed was very comfortable. I didn’t see the host much beyond the check‑in, and the heating wouldn’t turn on because it was cold outside. We also ran out of milk sachets, so we couldn’t have another hot drink. The bar was closed on Friday evening when we arrived, but otherwise everything was fine.

The location is super convenient for town‑centre attractions like the tower. The shower was a little cramped, but it worked for a couple of nights.

Close to both the centre and the beach. Parking was an issue.

I asked for an early check‑in and it worked out; I was able to arrive early and also got parking.
