The restaurant’s location was good, and the waiter was attentive, even helping with luggage. The food was delicious, and they even lent us a phone charger for the day. Breakfast was complete and tasty. The shower had low water pressure, and the toilet drain required multiple flushes to clear. Despite the cover, there were many flies because of the heat. At night we couldn’t buy bottled water because everything was closed, and we had to walk because the lodge is about three blocks from the main road; we asked the caretaker but he wouldn’t sell anything after 8 p.m.

“Atende as expectativas, mas não surpreende.”

Everything was clean and met the expectations set by the listing. The seaside area was amazing; I could watch the sunrise, and it was beautiful. The bed was uncomfortable—firm and had a kind of “gap” in the foam. When we arrived, there were many mosquitoes, and the lodge didn’t provide any insecticide. Another point that matters for those going on tours is that breakfast isn’t punctual: it’s supposed to start at 8 a.m., but at that time the table was still being set up.

The lodge feels cozy and secure, the simple breakfast is delicious, staff are attentive, and the view is stunning – I loved it. The only downside is that the site only works for those with a car; I felt trapped traveling with my daughter and always needed a driver from an app, and at night the area is dark and overgrown with brush, so I was scared to leave. It’s best for people who have a vehicle.
