Hotel Boutique Gold Garden

The breakfast was very nice and homemade. The rooms are pretty. The staff is super friendly and helpful (special shout‑out to Juan). The only hotel we had in Peru that offered slippers, which was a very nice addition. The location is good but on a very steep street. Not an issue with the hotel itself but be aware some taxis would refuse to go up the street because it was too steep, so you may have to carry all our bags to a place where they can pick you up if that happens. Shower could get an upgrade, but hot water was not an issue.

“A very convenient and clean stay”

In a convenient central part of Cusco city. Walking distance to the iconic Sacsayhuaman and main square. Stunning skyline view of the city. You felt close enough yet tucked away. You are on a slope, so you will need to walk up quite a tiring route to get to the hotel, especially if you are heading down to the square or Cathedrals often. But you just need to plan your day well to limit the exertion as much as possible - it was very bearable for our trip! You are within a 10 min walk of Sacsayhuman so just a give and take. You can also hear usual city noise like fireworks but it did not disrupt our sleep, as it eventually does stop later in the night

“Great stay in Cusco!”

Great location, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, nice rooms at a good value. They were gracious enough to store our luggage while we hiked the Inca trail. Thank you for a great stay!
