“Disappointed”

The kitchenette was convenient, but there was no air conditioning and street noise made it hard to sleep. No one helped me; I couldn’t call directly for a failed room code, so I had to message them and they said they couldn’t help until I pushed hard. I had to use the back entrance to get in or out onto the alleyway after a 21‑hour flight.

The bed was comfortable, which is something you have to expect anyway. I had a very unpleasant SMS exchange with the provider, who never showed up on site and wouldn’t even give his name when I asked. I contacted him because the toilet was dirty (feces), the room was set up for one person instead of the two I paid for, a guest’s sock was left behind, the room was stuffy, hot and had torn curtains, there was noise from a restaurant entrance (youth groups, glasses clinking at 22:30), and there was a lack of privacy. I reported the issues, understandably upset. The host’s response was completely off‑base: he was unprofessional in every message, never apologized, showed no goodwill, acted know‑it‑all and was utterly unfriendly to the customer.
