Everything looked almost brand‑new, from the towels and linens to the coffee and tea set‑up – all the little comforts were there, plus a nice little outside seat and gorgeous scenery with short‑drive hiking trails. I did wish there’d been a tiny hotplate and a mosquito net, though.

The apartment was roomy and tastefully decorated, and the welcome we got was genuinely warm. It made for an excellent stay from start to finish.

From check‑in to checkout everything ran smoothly and was flawless. The only hiccup was that the spa isn’t inside the building – it’s close by, but you have to walk a bit, which was fine anyway.
