The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us, which made the stay pleasant. Unfortunately, a Sapeur funeral vigil next door lasted through the night, so we had to deal with a lot of noise. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, just an inconvenient side‑effect.

When I got there, they greeted me with a basket of exotic fruit and a bottle of water – a nice touch that set the tone. Vaneche and her team were super helpful, even escorting me to buy a SIM card and arranging taxis; the room was clean and comfy, though occasional power cuts meant we relied on the generator, making it feel a bit hot at times. Breakfast was simple but tasty – avocado salad with baguette one day, omelette the next – and overall the price felt fair.

This place really sticks with you; the staff were amazing, managing to communicate despite the language gap and always ready to lend a hand. It sits in a lively area with plenty of shops and a big market, and I loved that it’s locally owned – supporting the community feels right. I’d gladly stay here for a quick visit or a longer trip.

The meals served here were top‑notch, and the atmosphere was quiet enough to get some serious work done. The only downside was the occasional electricity outage, which is pretty common around the city.
