I stayed close to Ueno Park, which feels like an oasis with its lotus lake, museums, shrines, temples, and lush greenery, and it’s also near Ueno’s train and subway stations, just a few meters from a lively main street and charming lanes full of restaurants at night—perfect for a few days in Tokyo with everything within reach. I have no complaints.
