I loved the quiet, beautiful spot and how easy it was to get there, with plenty of walking paths. Thanks to the hosts who let us check out a bit later after the spare keys were dropped off at the car. The cabin has its own vibe, and I’d recommend it to anyone who values a rustic lodge feel. If you’re after luxury, though, this isn’t the place for you – for us it was perfect.

Everything was great, the place was quiet and laid‑back. I didn’t find anything that I didn’t like; honestly, it was amazing.

I enjoyed the large garden beside the river with lobsters, the wood‑burning fireplace, and the quiet, natural surroundings. The beds were comfy with clean sheets, the kitchen was well equipped, and the owner was very responsive and accommodating. On the downside, the garden could have been better maintained, there was garbage when we arrived, the kid’s playground was a bit risky because it was old and the slide was very dirty and unstable. The living room was cluttered with the owner’s personal items, which felt like it was still in use and made the stay somewhat awkward. Nets against mosquitoes would also be a nice addition.

“Víkend”

The cottage’s location is excellent, with silence by the stream and no one bothering you. The interior could use a bit of care, and the outdoor seating, though nice, would benefit from a modest investment. The goulash pot struggled to keep heat, and we had to use a different pot for the stove, which was a real hassle. Besides that, it’s a bad investment to get a new pot.
