“Best hostel ever?”

The hostel was immaculately clean, and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The bunk beds were comfortable, and the blackout curtains gave great privacy. Everyone respected each other, and the hosts prepared breakfast while the group went out for dinner together. Cats roam around but are never allowed inside. Nothing was lacking; this is the best hostel I’ve stayed at and I’d gladly return.

I stayed only one evening and one night, but from the first moment the hosts and guests were very welcoming, sociable, friendly, and simply wonderful! Everything was spotless, and the airport transfer worked very well.

“A pleasant atmosphere in the heart of Madalena”

The garden and terrace are truly lovely, especially in the evenings, though the room itself is a bit small. The welcome is warm and lives up to the establishment’s name. It’s a shame you can’t see Pico directly from the property, preferably from the terrace, and you have to go to the street (take it as a joke).

“Espaço fantástico e um lado humano extraordinário!”

I felt truly at home here! Everything in this place is excellent: the facilities, the beauty of the outdoor area, and the high‑quality breakfast. What makes this place unique, however, is undoubtedly the human touch. The hosts are wonderfully friendly, with Stefan always available and willing to help me sort out small logistical hiccups. That warmth and the fact that they call us by name turned the stay into a fantastic experience. Deserved top marks and I’ll definitely return!
