A quiet gem, beautifully furnished house and rooms, and a huge garden with animals. Susanne prepares and serves a wonderful breakfast every morning with lots of love and attention to detail! We looked forward to the lovely, flower‑decorated breakfast buffet each day. A house full of pleasant encounters and a place to feel at ease. We’ll return next time for drawing and painting!

The accommodation was a treasure, the staff very friendly—almost like a family—and you felt comfortable right away. The breakfast buffet was lovingly decorated, featuring regional cheese, vegetables, and fruit from the house garden! I’ll be back next year. The location is a bit remote, but reachable by car. The nearby villages are somewhat deserted, yet we found two excellent restaurants.

The reception was warm, the garden by the river was absolutely dreamy, there was plenty of space in the room and the house, the breakfast was fine, and everything was very straightforward.

The animal collection was amazing! Super fun (water) birds, chickens, pigs, peacocks, etc. roaming around the property. Hammocks on the grounds where the animals walked underneath with their own behavior. The view from the room (second floor) over the river and the northern French landscape was beautiful! The breakfast (outside on the terrace) was well put together, everything was there. The relaxed atmosphere! I grabbed drinks and took notes. One evening guests were talking loudly through our bedroom window for a long time, so we couldn't sleep well. The owners apologized and resolved the issue with us.
