Matane was only a stopover on our way to Cap Gaspe; we stayed just one night and couldn't use the hotel’s extended offers. We were satisfied with the beds and breakfast. The location right on the ferry is obviously optimal. The ferry arrives late afternoon (which in late September means “just before dusk”). A short walk to the accommodation is a blessing.

The staff were kind, the bedding was exceptional—I’ve rarely slept so well! The quality and variety of pillows were great, and there was no noise from the room—a true joy. Breakfast had a good selection. However, there was little hot water for the second traveler, and the water was lukewarm.

The hotel’s location is great for catching the ferry to Baie Comeau, and the huge parking lets you park right in front of the room on the ground floor; the room itself was spacious and spotless. The fitness room looked nice and the breakfast was excellent.
