Modern, beautiful, and peaceful, right in the middle of the center—couldn’t have a better location. The young woman who prepares breakfast is delightful. The ground‑floor entrance feels a little grungy, but after a few visits you’ll forget it. The main breakfast area and rooms are truly lovely.

I was in Zagreb for the Marathon Masters World Championships and booked a room at B&B Centar, which only has 5 rooms and sits a mere 50 m from the start/finish line at Ban Josip Jelačić Square. The team kept me in the loop through both email and WhatsApp, letting me check in early and Paula greeted me with a genuinely warm welcome that made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Every morning I enjoyed a breakfast that was fresh, delicious, and lovingly prepared, and I could refill coffee, espresso, or tea at any time during the day. My room was large and airy, and the bed had excellent mattresses that ensured a great night’s sleep. I stayed for 7 days and would highly recommend this place—there was nothing to criticize.
